About the Coats 4 Kids Drive:
With the support of students from 30 area elementary, middle and high schools and customers of Colvin Cleaners in Kenmore, a record number of coats were collected in 2010, and cleaned during November and distributed in the annual Coats 4 Kids campaign.
The 77-year-old family-owned company’s Colvin Care community service program distributed 3,728 winter jackets and coats to less fortunate children in our community. Since 2000, Colvin Cleaners has collected, cleaned, and distributed 26, 502 coats through the annual Coats 4 Kids campaign.
