The first Coats for Kids distribution was a huge SUCCESS and we gave away more than 1,200 coats! But the season still continues here at Colvin Cleaners and we need more coats before our second giveaway on December 3rd! Want to know how you can help? We collect coats and gently used winter garments ALL YEAR LONG at Colvin Cleaners (2375 Elmwood Ave. in Kenmore). During October, November and December, you can also donate garments at Dash's Markets four locations or any of these local businesses/schools/churches.
Colvin Cleaners customers can bring in garments at our store OR put them out with their pick up & delivery orders in a separate bag clearly marked "Coats for Kids."
Our first distribution was on November 5th, 2016 and we gave away more than 1,200 coats! Our second distribution is December 3rd, 2016 from 9am - 1pm at True Bethel Baptist Church (907 E. Ferry in Buffalo). Anyone in need of a coat, scarf, mittens, etc. can come and select the garments of their choice.
Colvin Cleaners has been participating in Coats for Kids for 21 years and we need your help and generosity to keep the spirit alive through donations of winter clothing.
We encourage you at this time to go through your closet and donate the coatsthat you no longer use! Colvin Cleaners will clean and donate that coat to a child in need.
